Another successful Charter event

Many thanks to those who attended our “Beyond the Rebuild” event on 7 November. We had around 100 members join us to celebrate the official launch of the Charter as an Incorporated Society. We also heard from WorkSafe on their evaluation of the Canterbury Rebuild Programme – a copy of that report can be found here. The evaluation is very positive about the Programme as a whole and, in particular, the Charter’s role in supporting a safe rebuild.

We also had a thought-provoking session where five members reflected on what they had learnt during the rebuild and the challenges that lie ahead for construction in Canterbury. We put them under a ‘pecha kucha’ time and content limit – 20 seconds each slide, images only – which resulted in some direct and very moving messages. Check out the presentations here.
