Construction Safety Council Managing Safely course – 50% off

With many construction businesses striving to create healthier and safer workplaces, the Construction Safety Council (CSC) are partnering with ACC’s chosen training provider, The Learning Wave, to promote the CSC’s Managing Safely course. This course is New Zealand’s construction sector standard for supervisor and manager training.

It focuses on the most important asset of a business – its people. We want to help to create safer and healthier workplaces by investing in them.

So have a look at the training and see whether your business could benefit from the course.

ACC recently started a trial to help businesses create safer and healthier workplaces. The trial supports businesses with a co-investment grant to help them financially. The co-investment grant offer contributes 50% of the costs for the CSC Managing Safely training, up to a maximum contribution which is dependent on the size of the business.

Eligibility criteria for businesses:

• The business needs to be part of the construction sector
• Business size: small to medium (6 to 99 employees)

In order to participate, businesses need to fill out an application form and send it to ACC by 16 March, 2018.
