The first Safety Charter, Health and Safety Representative workshop of the year is all about Crisis Management, and how to build a resilient organisation from the bottom up. The next crisis is always on the horizon, be it earthquake, pandemic, volcano or plague of locusts. The specifics of the event will always be different, but how do we best engage with all members of our organisation in the planning stage to produce the best outcomes?
The first part of the workshop will look specifically at Covid-19 responses and the lessons learnt, and how we can apply these going forward. Jenny Ewing, Triage Management Systems will lead us through a session on crisis planning and resilient organisations. Closing with, Tammy Alexander, Maugers Contracting taking us through the role of a health and safety leader in a crisis, and how to deal with the differing needs of workers and management.
